The Human Body, Layer by Layer

One real body, one system at a time. Switch a system on, fade it so you can see through it, or slice the body open. Click any part to learn its name.

What you will learn. I can use a 3D model to find parts of four body systems. I can explain how two systems work together, using where their parts are.

About this model. Every part is a real surface built from scans of one adult man, so the shapes and sizes are true to life, not drawn. He is shown in anatomical position: standing, arms down, palms forward. "Their left" means the body's own left side. The reproductive system is not included, and the model has no skin. Want the bones on their own, with a quiz? Open the skeleton lab.
